Typical sunrises, taken looking from the house to the southeast as the sun peeks through the Rock Creek Rift:

These were taken in winter, so no leaves on the oaks. This beautiful ground is west of the house, the second photo showing the new wellhouse tucked into the trees. Did we mention that there is a great gravel pit on the property, that is completely hidden from view? The new road being built down to it is shown in the third photo.

Taken in summer, random photos of our horses to show how gorgeously treed this property actually is.

Photos showing some of the extensive work done to sculpt the property without spoiling it. The first photo looks north from the house, where the driveway eventually leaves the property. The construction trailers you see here are all temporary, and will be cleanly removed by the seller. The second photo looks east at the new road into the pasture. The third photo looks west to the end of the drive and the new wellhouse. This is all fresh fall-winter work, which will be grass-covered again by spring.
The next three photos are from west of the house, looking back toward the east. The first one is taken from the driveway, the next one is from a little farther south looking down at acres of landscaped yard from near the edge of the garage area, and the third is from farther down in the yard looking back up at the garage pad. This work was done during fall and winter in damp earth to prevent erosion.

Wild turkeys in the yard. A flock of about 40 stay all year, mingling with the farm cats and eating with the horses.

Deer outside the bedroom window, where they stay most of the winter because this property is so sheltered. In the other 2 pictures, where another alternative building site slopes down gently to the south, notice all the red autumn leaves - this is a large dense oak thicket where many deer live, which we have left untouched to preserve their favorite sleeping habitat.

Typical winter evening sunset views, taken looking from the house. The first three pan across the horizon view from southeast to south to southwest, the next three are taken at various times of Mt Hood (zoom, wide-angle, and normal).
